Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will go on a city tour of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Tbilisi city tour will take you to the Narikala fortress by cable car and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Walk past Tbilisi's only mosque to the Sulfur Baths district, and feel the living past as you stroll through the Shardeni district, with its narrow streets lined with cozy cafes, wine-tasting bars and souvenir shops. Visit the Anchiskhati Cathedral and the clock tower of the famous Rezo Gabriadze Theater. Transfer to hotel in the evening. Explore the city on your own during your free time. Overnight at hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we head north along the Georgian Military Road towards the Russian border. Our first stop is Ananuri Fortress, a 16th-century castle complex on the Aragvi River. The front façade of the church is beautifully carved with animals, flowers and Celtic patterns. Our next stop is Gudauri, a rapidly developing new ski resort in the Kazbegi region of Georgia. Afterwards, head to the Gergeti Trinity Church. The Gergeti Trinity Church is impressively located on a hill below the towering white Kazbek massif, at an altitude of 5,033 meters. Return to Tbilisi by car. Transfer to hotel. Feel free to explore the city freely. Overnight at hotel.
