The capital of the Kingdom of Eastern Georgia and the Kingdom of Iberia. Visit Jvari Church, a true early architectural masterpiece built on a medieval hill. Enjoy views of the confluence of the Aragvi and Mzkvari rivers. Visit Svetitskhoveli, Mtskheta's main cathedral and sacred place where the robes of Christ are kept. The complex has his 16th to his 17th century churches and towers and offers beautiful views of the Jinvali Reservoir. Arrive at the Gergeti Holy Trinity Church at an altitude of 2170m by 4WD vehicle. I live in a hotel.
We will leave Kazbegi in the morning and drive to the city of Gori.
