Visa to Azerbaijan

Citizens of most countries are required to have a valid visa to travel Azerbaijan. The type of visa you will need depends on the purpose and length of your stay. You can apply online for the Azerbaijan travel visa or you can get upon arrival at Baku airport.

Azerbaijan visa requirements

The most common type of visa is a tourist visa, which allows travelers to stay in Azerbaijan for up to 30 days. Azerbaijan has launched an e-Visa system that allows visitors to apply for a visa online. The e-Visa is available to citizens of more than 80 countries and can be used for single entry visits of up to 30 days.

To apply for an Azerbaijan e-Visa, applicants must fill out the online application form on the official website and pay the required fee using a credit or debit card. Tourists have to provide a copy of their passport (valid for at least 6 months), a digital photograph, and proof of travel insurance. They may also need to provide additional documents depending on their purpose of travel. Once approved, the visa will be sent via email in PDF format. The printed visa should be presented upon arrival in Azerbaijan.

Countries which get a visa on arrival to Azerbaijan:

Foreign residents of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman can get a visa to Azerbaijan at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku. The visa is valid for 30 days and can be extended for an additional 30 days. However, it is important to note that all visitors must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining and a return ticket. Additionally, visitors must also provide proof of sufficient funds to cover their stay in Azerbaijan.
