"Strange rock formations, fairy chimneys, and underground city - Cappadocia is pretty quirky. This morning you have the option to take a hot air balloon ride early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Those who opt for this extra option will have a great time, soaring above the changing colors as the sun rises. Late in the morning, head underground and explore this labyrinthine city of Cappadocia carved out by thousands of Cappadocia's 36 cities. before. See the highlights of the area this afternoon, visit Pigeon Valley and Devrent Valley - your team leader will know all the best places to stop. In the late afternoon, have some wine and find the perfect vantage point to watch the sunset. Afterwards, you may want to experience Göreme's nightlife or, for something more mystical, check out a traditional sema performance by avid monks.
“Put your boots on this morning and hike the hills and mountains around Goreme. Our local guides know the best hiking trails for the best views. Then the afternoon and evening are completely yours to relax and explore as you please. You may want to get some beanbags at Fat Boys.
“Spend a day exploring more of the Cappadocia region. If you wish, stop by the Goreme Open Air Museum, a medieval wonderland with ancient stone churches and frescoes. If you want a completely different take on the varied landscape here, you can visit Avanos or rent a bike and cycle through the valley to Cavusin. A perfect spot to visit the church with its wonderful frescoes, tonight we will take the night bus to Istanbul.
Arrive in Istanbul this morning to conclude your adventure and bid farewell to your group leader and travel companions at your centrally located hotel. There are no activities scheduled for today, so you can leave at any time.
