The old city of Baku is what awaits us next, where you will discover the rich history of past monuments such as mosques, caravans, old merchant squares and public baths. Diving into history in Baku would not be complete without a visit to the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and the legends surrounding them. That's why this will be our next stop on the tour. Nizami Street is where we will take you directly. after the Shirvanshahs Palace, a large pedestrian shopping street in downtown Baku, Azerbaijan, named after the classical poet Nizami Ganjavi. Fountain Square, a public square in downtown Baku where tourists and locals spend an enjoyable afternoon or evening chatting, socializing or watching the flow of people, and thus it was a must stop on our Baku tour. Finally, we'll make a final visit to the Heydar Aliyev Center, a 619,000-square-foot complex designed by the immensely talented and world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid.
Day 3 begins with a hearty yet leisurely buffet breakfast at your hotel in Baku, then you'll have the day free to do what you want.
