Upon your arrival in Tbilisi, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. After checking in around noon, enjoy free time to relax or explore the capital at your own pace. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Meet your guide and begin a full-day city tour of Tbilisi. Visit the iconic Holy Trinity Cathedral, one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world. Explore the historic Metekhi Church and the statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, Tbilisi’s legendary founder. Take a scenic cable car ride to Narikala Fortress for panoramic city views. Walk through the old town to the famous Sulphur Baths and the only mosque in the city. Discover the charming Shardeni district with its cozy cafes, art galleries, and wine bars. Continue to the Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati Basilica, and the whimsical clock tower of the Rezo Gabriadze Theatre. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Georgian dinner with folk music and dance. After breakfast, head to Mtskheta, Georgia’s ancient capital and spiritual heart. Visit Jvari Monastery, perched above the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, and admire the UNESCO-listed Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Drive along the scenic Georgian Military Highway, stopping at the impressive Ananuri Fortress overlooking the turquoise Zhinvali Reservoir. Continue through the high mountain pass (2394 meters above sea level) and pause at a natural mineral spring. Arrive in Kazbegi, a mountain town nestled in the Caucasus. Take a 4x4 ride to Gergeti Trinity Church (2170m) for breathtaking views of Mount Kazbek (5033m). Overnight in Kazbegi.

Begin your return journey to Tbilisi, stopping first in Gori to visit the Stalin Museum, which showcases personal artifacts, his childhood home, and the armored train he traveled in. Continue to the ancient cave town of Uplistsikhe, carved into rock cliffs and showcasing pre-Christian and Christian architectural elements. Return to Tbilisi and overnight.

Depart for Georgia’s wine region, Kakheti, traveling over the scenic Gombori Pass. Arrive in Telavi, the regional center, and enjoy a brief walking tour of its charming old streets and a photo stop at the statue of King Erekle II. Visit the elegant estate of Tsinandali, once home to noble poet Alexander Chavchavadze, with its romantic gardens and historical wine cellar. Later, see the Alaverdi Cathedral, a masterpiece of 11th-century Georgian architecture. Overnight in Telavi.

Continue exploring Kakheti. Start with the 16th-century Gremi Fortress, the former royal capital of the region. Next, visit Khareba Winery, where wines age in tunnels carved into rock. Enjoy a guided wine tour and tasting session. Proceed to Sighnaghi, often called the “City of Love,” known for its picturesque streets and panoramic views of the Alazani Valley. Before returning to Tbilisi, stop at the Bodbe Monastery, where Saint Nino, who brought Christianity to Georgia, is believed to be buried. Arrive in Tbilisi for your final overnight stay.
