3-Day Baikonur Cosmodrome Tour – Between Launches

Upon arrival in Baikonur, meet at the checkpoint and complete entry procedures. Hotel check-in is available from 14:00.
Begin your city tour with a visit to Cosmonauts’ Alley, where space explorers have planted trees in their honor. Continue to Gagarin’s Pavilion, a memorial dedicated to Yuri Gagarin, and then visit the Baikonur History Museum. The museum features a variety of exhibits including spacecraft models, mission equipment, and documents covering the USSR and Russian space programs.
Dinner is not included in the program. Free time in the evening.
Overnight in Baikonur.

After breakfast, transfer to the cosmodrome at 09:00. Pass through Checkpoint 7, the main access point to the restricted zones.
The day's visits include:

• Saturn tracking station, responsible for monitoring launches and tracking spacecraft

• Energia-Buran control center, formerly used during the Soviet shuttle program

• Gagarin’s launch site and mission control center, where the first human spaceflight began

• Lunch at a staff cafeteria in Site 2 or Site 200

• Proton launch complex, used for heavy-lift rocket launches

• Cosmodrome Museum with exhibits on launch vehicles, suits, and mission tools

• Full-scale model of the Buran orbital shuttle

• Memorial houses of chief designer Sergey Korolev and cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin

Return to the city around 18:00. Dinner on your own.
